"Can you believe it, Jensen? She's still trying."
"I know, right? Beans just aren't very bright."
"Well, if she can keep going, so can we. Now whose turn is it to bite today?"
"I believe it's your turn, Beautiful. Try not to break the skin, OK?"
"No promises, Dear, no promises!"
Yes, RG, we are still trying. Always the optimist, you know? I want to thank everyone for their encouraging words, including Brandi, Micky and Jade, and Annette. Hopefully, like Gina said, the gates can come down soon.
As far as Buttercup's past, for the last year, she has been in a very nice foster home. Maybe it was even too peaceful for a bun who was destined for our house. There is a very good reason my husband is nicknamed "Crash".... She's making progress, though. She even ran up to me for petting this morning!
We'll finish up with one more picture of the girl. Here she is showing off her "long" legs. At least I'm pretty sure there are legs there somewhere!

Small but sure steps and it will all come good,xx Rachel and Speedy
Scout and Sage had a very tumultuous beginning. Scout couldn't understand why I would want a stinky, ginormous, Dutch about, and Sage didn't understand why she should listen to a little pile of fur snot. Eventually they grew to tolerate each other. Then one morning I woke up to the living room look like a tornado had ripped through and there were two rabbits, lying together, snoring, in the middle.
Apparently they threw a huge party and became sisters. Teenager sisters. Who would unite against me at the drop of a paw, or fight with each other if I hadn't done anything to irritate them both. The rest of the time they put up with each other or snuggled, depending on which way the wind was blowing.
There's always hope!
That first photo is so adorable, hard to believe they fight. I love their conversation though! lol I'll be thinking of Buttercup and Jensen now when I pack up your wonderful rabbit tote and hoping they are only giving love bites!
I promise, they will fall madly in love. Don't give up on them. Just keep thinking of the day you see them kissing and snuggled next to each other.
"...It's a thin line, between love and hate..."
they will leartn to love one another I'm sure
Oh, no! Well, Anais and Huxley (from Huxley and Finnegan the bunnies) fought horribly for a long time ... bunmom almost gave up ... but all of a sudden ... LOVE... who knew? Maybe the same will come soon for your sweet babies!
Thought!
Have you tried playing some Marvin Gaye to help get them in the mood? (Hay! Humping's better than biting!)
she is so pretty! Wesley has his pink eyes on her :) ....Jensen's been told!
They are just so cute together. Funny how bunnies can be so naughty with all that cuteness. Little buggers.
Well, at least they are discussing it civily a bit! Progress!
