Thanks for all the Jensen/Buttercup encouragement. I shot this picture early today.
Unfortunately, things broke down during the bonding session. I tried giving them their greens together. Let's just say, Jensen is a pig, and Buttercup is not putting up with it! Any advice?
There are bound to be setbacks. I love you, Karen, but I have to say (as I shake my head sagely) that YOU dropped the ball on this one (I have to blame you in order to keep my smug superiority about rabbit behavioural wisdom). But look how they snuggle against the bars. That means they are willing to kiss and make up. Woo, Jensen's a biggun' ain't he.
Yeah i think feeding together might just be fuel to the fire. I know my female will grunt and throw a hissy w/me with her impatience. Maybe treats when they've been good separately.

They are just two strong willed bunnies for sure, but they are so cute I can hardly stand it!
Fingers crossed that they start being friends again soon
a bowl ech for their greens and keep them apart till Jensen learns not to hog Buttercups food you may have to put him right until he learns
Dang it ... two steps ahead, one step back ...
Don't do that?
I ment to say keep them appart when they eat their greens, but they do love each ohter really,xx Rachel
Sometimes even a loving couple just cannot dine together.
Naughty Jensen--don't you know it's not polite to steal from others' plates?
