Chewing On Something

Hi, everybun! Hope you are all surviving the winter OK. We are certainly ready for Spring. And it's coming. Really! March is going to go by in the shake of a bunny's tail, and then it will be time for April, and Daffodils. We can make it!

Speaking of April, did you know that it is NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month0? Neither did we, until we saw our friend The Crafty Green Poet mention it. Now, we are chewing over an idea.

Maybe I could participate in NaPoWriMo? Hmmmm. I haven't written a poem since college. That's 30 years, give or take a few. Let's see....
******************

There once was a bunny from Wales,
(poetic license, have you ever tried to rhyme anything with Massachusetts?)

Who’d bite when I’d trim his nails.

To accomplish the feat,

I’d keep his mouth full of treats,

But now he has broken the scales!
*****************
Ta Dah! Not too bad, for a first attempt. Buttercup seems to like it. Jensen is kind of glaring at me, though.
Well, what do you think? Should I give it a try? Maybe with Buttercup and Jensen's help?

In the meantime, here's a little more poetry fun to make you giggle.

Hey guys, how about this one?

There once was a bun from Nantucket,
Who carried his greens in a bucket
He munched on his hay,
Then got carried away,
Cause his fur got so long, you could pluck it.

Ta-dahhhhh!

*crickets*

Dang, them bunnehs are a tough crowd to please...

what a lovely video! Two good limericks too, and really if you try you can make 'pets' rhyme with 'Massachusetts' (or you can with a British accent anyway)
