This Is What Everyone Has Been Waiting For???

Mom made us have a brushing today. We're not sure why. Apparently, she has some problem with breathing fur.

She said since it's the first day of spring, and warm outside, we might as well go out to be brushed.

We hate getting brushed.

And, if this is Mom's idea of warm, she's really gone around the bend.

This "spring" everyone has been waiting for?  You can keep it. We are going back inside, where bunnies belong. Where it really is warm.

Maybe we will even help Mom with the quilting. We'll do anything, as long as she doesn't bring us back outside! Just don't tell her we said that, OK?

Happy Spring, if for some reason that is your thing,
Grumpily,
 Buttercup and Jensen

Why We Can't Have Nice Things

WHAT???

And in other news, Juliet came up with a rhyme for us for Massachusetts, so we tried again on the limerick.

With the help of fair Juliet,
who suggested rhyming with "pets",
we can finish our poem
with the right word for home,
'cause the rabbit is from Massachusetts.

Yay! Love all my helpful Internet friends. Have a wonderful day, everybun!

Chewing On Something

Hi, everybun! Hope you are all surviving the winter OK. We are certainly ready for Spring. And it's coming. Really! March is going to go by in the shake of a bunny's tail, and then it will be time for April, and Daffodils. We can make it!

Speaking of April, did you know that it is NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month0? Neither did we, until we saw our friend The Crafty Green Poet mention it. Now, we are chewing over an idea.

Maybe I could participate in NaPoWriMo? Hmmmm. I haven't written a poem since college. That's 30 years, give or take a few. Let's see....
******************

There once was a bunny from Wales,
(poetic license, have you ever tried to rhyme anything with Massachusetts?)

Who’d bite when I’d trim his nails.

To accomplish the feat,

I’d keep his mouth full of treats,

But now he has broken the scales!

Ta Dah! Not too bad, for a first attempt. Buttercup seems to like it. Jensen is kind of glaring at me, though.
Well, what do you think? Should I give it a try? Maybe with Buttercup and Jensen's help?

In the meantime, here's a little more poetry fun to make you giggle.
