Not All Rabbit's Feet Are Lucky

This week's Creative Cue is FOOT. I thought I would post a picture of a lucky rabbit's foot, or two.

Those are Weasley's feet, proportionally the largest (and hairiest) feet in the house. The Satin shine is really glowing in this picture. I always think that he and Ginny look like they are walking on marshmallows. Anyone want to clip those nails for me?

Ginny's feet are a little less lucky, although they are at least still attached, so that counts for something. See the dark spot on the left heel?

She had to go to the vet on Monday, for a check on another one of her lumps. She thumped during the entire car ride to the vet. When I pulled her out of the carrier, there was blood all over. She had another lump on her heel, and the thumping had split it open! So, we added yet more medicine to our growing bunny apothecary, and the foot is healing up nicely.

Weasley

Weasley says since I disturbed his nap, I should at least put something in his dish. His wish is my command. But you knew that already.

Ginny's a real trooper. Weasley looks like he'll fall asleep in his dish before the treat arrives, but at least he has you well trained.

We need some nail trimming over here too :(

Sorry to hear about Ginny's foot. Gotta wonder why they would hurt themselves trying to warn YOU that they're pissed at YOU.

Awww, poor Ginny--I guess expressing her displeasure was more important than her well-being. We'll be thinking good thoughts for a quick recovery.

As for Mr. Weasley, he should take comfort in the immense amount of cute gained by the rumpled, just-woke-up, half-asleep look. I hear it does wonders for Brad Pitt. ;)

Poor Ginny bunny! I hope she is feeling better. She certainly has cute little feet.

I know that must have freaked you out seeing blood in the carrier. Thank goodness you were at the vet already. Lucky foot indeed! Hope she is doing better.

Weasley my dear boy. I could just kiss them footies and that fuzzy face! You are such an adorable bun!
