Weasley On The Bunway

Weasley may not be able to see anymore, and he is having some other difficulties getting around, but he surely does perk up those ears at the sound of produce bags being unpacked after a trip to the grocery store.

We added some extra runners, to act as a runway for him, as he makes his wobbly way around the house. At first he continued to try to hug the walls as he moved, but he's got the idea now, and follows the paths pretty well. And he can find the food dish with no problems at all! Bunnies are amazing, aren't they?

They truly are amazing. I'm so glad I discovered rabbits as pets. They had added so much to our lives.

Weasley is now cleared for taxiing to the food dish. All other traffic please refrain from entering the bunway at this time.

It is wonderful how animals adapt without complaint.

Sweet Weasley. So lucky to have you to make things easier! Those bunnies ears do hear those produce bags from a distance, don't they?
Hugs to Weasley.

Runners are SO useful. I really love them. (Have I mentioned Sogna can't navigate smooth surfaces? At all?)

I think the sound of produce bags is innate to rabbits. Also hearing the faucet run at a certain time of evening sets mine off.

Weasley seems like a pretty incredible guy. And still so handsome. Doesn't look a day over 2. (I must be honest I can't tell him and Ginny apart).

Oh poor sweet strong Weasley...and I am so so grateful to you, that your giving him a wonderful safe home in, because some people would be heartless & put the bunny to sleep...it sounds like Weasley is adjusting beautifully...give him snuggles for me please. p.s. Our buns have 'runways' as well, ha ha...us rabbit owners are one of a kind aren't we, ha ha.
