This fabric is a pain to stitch, and is very thick, so it's best done by hand. The hems are often very long, or a thick roll, because we can't cut the fabric. The pants may need to get longer for a different kid next year, or the same kid may grow 5 inches in the next couple of months. Believe me, it has happened! I can't complain too much, though, since it's our last year with the high school band. And, it really is great to see them looking sharp on the field.
Hope you are all having a fine weekend.

You go, Karen! Can't believe it's your last year with the band already! We're hoping to make it to a game or two this season...never made it to see Kayleigh on the stand last year. I hear you have some great music this year too! Chuck is one of my favorites!

Busy, busy, busy!
Oh yes! Band season :o) Our kids were just fitted to their uniforms. And band camp finished a couple of days ago :o) So good of you to help with all that hemming!
Ah, Band Days. A major part of my high school experience. Unfortunately, none of my children showed much interest. :-(
Good Luck with hemming Karen, no matter how small the pile, I always find it a huge pain in the butt! ha ha.
Hope Ginny and Weasley are well.
